Prenatal Care
Every thing that you do has an affect on the developing
child. Seeking physician guided care once you have confirmed
pregnancy is one of the most important steps you can take
in protecting your unborn child's health. Your plan of
care will be a comprehensive plan that will guide you
all the way through the prenatal period, which includes
your pregnancy to the delivery of your baby.

Childbirth Education
Certified professional educators, who are registered
nurses, teach our childbirth education classes. These
classes contain education about changes during pregnancy,
labor, birth, and postpartum and infant care. Participants
learn coping skills through techniques. In addition,
the support person learns the necessary skills to be
an active participant in the labor and birth process.
You will view a video showing actual births. Arrangements
will be made for you to tour Women's and Children's
Center. We offer evening and Saturday classes to meet
your needs. Evening classes are two hours a week for
six weeks. Saturday classes are one day from 9 a.m.
until 5:00 p.m.

Infant Safety and CPR
These classes are designed for caregivers from birth
to one year of age. Each participant will learn the
most common ways infants are injured, ways to prevent
injuries and how to childproof your home. At the end
of the classes you will be able to accurately demonstrate
CPR and choking skills. These three-hour classes are
offered the first Wednesday of every month from 6:00
p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
