Danville Diagnostic Imaging Center
Danville Diagnostic Imaging Center (DDIC) is conveniently
located at the Piedmont Regional Medical Center, 125 Executive
Drive, Suite D near Piedmont Mall. DDIC offers sophisticated
imaging services such as mammography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy,
routine x-rays, CT (computed tomography), Open MRI (magnetic
resonance imaging), and nuclear medicine. DDIC's Open
MRI unit is the only one in the region and many patients
find it more comfortable.
DDIC recently added a new multi-slice CT scanner. This
equipment provides vascular scans that are accurate,
quick and complements the open heart surgery program
at the Heart Center of the Piedmont.
