Dr. Beaver, who has
practiced in Danville Since 1991, is now a part of Danville
Regional Health System.
 This
move insures that quality OB/GYN care will continue
to be available to women of all means in the Dan River
Region.
"I'm very happy to be able to stay here in Danville,"
Dr. Beaver said. "I have a wonderful group of patients,
and I'm delighted to continue serving them."
Dr. Beaver has been in the community for 13 years,
but his practice was endangered by factors beyond his
control. "The cost of malpractice insurance has
hit OB/GYN physicians especially hard," he said.
"The need for my practice is here, though, and
I'm very happy that Danville Regional has stepped in
so that I can continue doing what I love."
Dr. Beaver delivers an average of 280 to 500 babies
a year. Multiply that over his tenure in the area, and
you understand the magnitude of his contribution to
area families.
Dr. Beaver's practice, renamed Healthcare For Women,
will continue to accept all payment methods, including
