Ask a Doctor
Our new web site asks: How do you like me now?
from Better Health magazine, Summer,
2004
Our
web site, www.danvilleregional.com, has undergone a
strength and conditioning program and has beefed up
with more useful information than ever. Now he takes
on some of your most frequently asked questions.

Let's say I'm having a problem with tendonitis
in my elbow. Where do I go to get information?
On my homepage, you'll see a "Health Information"
tab. Click on it, and a "For Your Health"
graphic page appears. Click there, and you'll come to
a page that has links to the most common topics, and
a search function for an even more expansive selection.
I remember reading about a special treatment
in a past issue of Better Health. Would that be available
online?
You
bet. Just click on my "Health Information"
tab, and you'll see "Better Health" in the
column of links on the left hand side. Click and you'll
have access to issues going all the way back to 1998.
I've
been hearing a lot about the Heart Center of the Piedmont.
Where can I find information about it?
From my home page, click on the "Our Services"
tab. Look on the left, and you'll see a link to "Heart
Center of the Piedmont". Just click.
I'm
new in town, and need a pediatrician for my kids. Can
you help me?
We
can help you find physicians for the whole family, or
for most any condition. Just click on my "Physician
Directory" tab, and you'll have lots of options
to choose from. Dentists, surgeons, specialists - and,
of course, pediatricians. Or if you'd prefer to speak
with someone about this choice, you can always call
our Health Referral Service at (434) 799-WELL or toll-free
at (877) 799-WELL.
Sometimes
I have basic questions about the hospital, like visiting
hours, but I hate to call for something like that.
We
don't mind, really. But I can answer most of your questions
at my site. Just click on my "Patient and Visitor
Info" tab, and you'll see the answers to everything
from parking information to flower delivery. Couldn't
be easier!
