Kiwanis Club Gift to Provide Family Lodging

The Kiwanis
Club of Danville Foundation has
awarded a $50,000 donation to be used for renovation
of The Foundation House, to provide inexpensive,
overnight lodging for patient's families.
The Foundation House, near the hospital at 136
West Main Street, will have six bedrooms with
private baths, a conference room, commons area,
and office for registration.
It will be used primarily by families of critically
ill patients, including parents of children who
are hospitalized.
