Women who have had one urinary tract infection commonly develop
others. This is especially true for women ages 25 to 29 and those
older than age 55. But drinking 1.6 ounces of cranberry juice a
day can cut the risk of further infection by 20%, say researchers.
Cranberries contain substances that help keep bacteria from attaching
to cells within the body.

If you've had a heart attack, staying active is key, according to
one study of women and men ages 25 to 74. Those who maintained or
increased their regular level of physical activity were less likely
than those who became less active to have a second attack or die
within five years. Physical activity did not have to be vigorous
to be beneficial. Even activities such as stair climbing, gardening,
or housework were protective. The people who fared the worst were
those who were physically inactive before their heart attack and
remained that way after it.
