Building Opens Its Doors
"It's the latest state-of-the-art facility on our campus," said Brad Sexauer, Danville Regional's Vice President of Planning and Marketing. "It's a real showpiece for the kind of progress we're making here." The building means more space and greater convenience for physicians and families. For example, pediatric services formerly were housed in two separate buildings in Danville. And those who came to give blood had to park behind the building and climb a long hill. Now they have reserved spaces near the door and can walk right in. The 40,000-square-foot building also houses an expanded Occupational Health Service on the first floor. "The Professional Building is an important step in moving Danville Regional toward a hospital campus that is both more convenient and more fully prepared for the future," said Sexauer. "And it's a truly beautiful facility, with plenty of light and art work by local artists in the commons area. It's a building that not only offers the latest in medical care - it also lifts the spirits as well." |
