Staff
Ann Sasser Evans, Medical Librarian, staffs the Ralph
R. Landes Medical Library (RRLML). Ann holds a Master's
of Library Science (MLS) degree from the University
of South Carolina College of Librarianship in Columbia,
South Carolina. USC is accredited by the American Library
Association. Ann has been employed by Danville Regional
Medical Center in this capacity since 1982.
Location
The Ralph R. Landes Medical Library is located on the
First Level of Section B, adjacent to the Endoscopy
Unit and across the hall from the Pain Clinic and Pulmonary
Department.
Access Policy
It is open to the Medical and Hospital staffs Monday
through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Library is staffed
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. During these
hours the Librarian will assist any customer of the
library with research and/or document delivery. At 4:30
PM on weekdays and at all times during the weekends,
the Ralph R. Landes Medical Library is locked. Access
is permitted through parking badges for the Medical
Staff and identification badges for DRMC associates.
The library is open to the general public by appointment,
Monday through Friday.
